In Day 32 of our 40 Day Journey with Jesus: A Lenten Reflection, we begin with Isaiah 61:10.

Dear brothers and sisters,

The feeling of joy a bride and groom feel on their wedding day, in the presence of God, is probably the closest thing in our earthly realm to how Jesus must feel when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. He loves us so much that He willingly gave His life at the cross to become the atonement for our sin, salvation, and the way to righteousness.

We invite you to settle in for a bit and join us as we chat about today’s scripture, dive a little deeper and discover the truth of Isaiah’s vision and what we need to do to receive this most precious gift from Jesus--to be clothed in garments of salvation and a robe of righteousness. Spoiler alert—the only thing we need to do is accept Him… period!

Daily Scripture:

“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10 NKJV

In His precious love,

Shalom shalom (perfect peace)
